As a spiritual being living a human experience, you carry your own Divine essence and deep seated gifts. Remembering this stokes the Divine light within you, but now that you’re here, how do you embody this flame?  How do you keep the flame from burning out or becoming a destructive wildfire?

Journeying with Dragons is a three day retreat led by experienced healing arts practitioners who will create and hold space for you as you tap into this activated flame and learn how to embody it. You'll have the opportunity to:

• step back from your daily life
• take time to explore, reconnect with, and strengthen this Divine energy
• ground the physical body and center the spiritual self
• dedicate your efforts to the practices of yoga, breathwork, energy work and journeying with Dragon energy
• leave with tools and knowledge that will aid you on your path so that you can transform your life

Enjoy locally sourced farm to table meals and a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain setting throughout the weekend, with a variety of rooming options at Mountain Rest Cabins & Campground.

Host Bios:

Casey Certain has felt deeply connected to the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina since childhood, and began welcoming the friendship and messages from the Animals since that time. Honing her skills through observation and education, she also works to collect and retell the Animals’ cultural stories as they see fit. Her mission has been to aid in the universal process of learning, growing, and healing as we each acknowledge not only our own personal Divine existence, but the Divine existence and connection of each and every other being.

After serving youth who were from at-risk situations for seven years, Casey began to embrace her identity and role of not only teacher, but healer in 2020. Working to explore, record, and share what the Animals, Plants, and Land wish to share and teach, she now offers private sessions and retreats as an Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner at her homestead in Walhalla, South Carolina, with her husband David.

She is trained in hypnotherapy, meditation, breathwork, yoga, aromatherapy, auriculotherapy, among other modalities. Her great joy, however, is introducing individuals to the Animal Allies who have been working, and who wish to continue working, with them in order to bring balance to their healing journey. Her own journey is assisted most frequently by Rabbit, Blue Jay, Fox, Crow, and Black Snake.

For over 30 years, Darlene has sought knowledge, training and tools to live a healthier, more spiritually connected life.  Certified in numerous energy healing modalities such as Reiki, Ama Deus, Access Bars and Intuitive Counseling, Darlene loves assisting others in finding their truth and their life's passions.  She is ordained by the Universal Life Church Ministries in order to offer spiritual counseling to those that prefer a non-denominational, non-traditional approach.  Darlene is married, has one grown son, two rescued dogs, Finn and Ginger, and two rescued cats, Smokey and Bandit.

Kristy began to consciously tap into divine energy & learn about animism over 25 years ago. She has continued to explore, learn, and share over the years. Topics she works with include moon cycles, Reiki, chakra healing, crystal healing, clairsentience, and herbalism.  Kristy enjoys creating space for nature & magic to blend together in ways that nourish an individual's personal journey into living more at peace with their whole being (body, mind, and soul). Her aim is to allow living a more intentional life that embraces authenticity, a way of healing from trauma, & being present as our paths unfold as well as evolve.  She also loves co-creating with plant medicine by the seasons combined with moon cycles for health and rituals.  Working within our local community is a key aspect of Kristy’s offerings by holding space for learning and sharing with others; she is driven to encourage community building  and to reawaken connections.  She lives in Easley with her family and offers private sessions & herbal consultations at Green Heart Awakening in Pendleton, SC.  She is also available for classes/workshops tailored to you and/or your group's interests.
